Ministry:
From the greek word "Diakoneo" meaning "to serve" In the New testament, Ministry is seen as a service to God and to other people in His name. Jesus provided the pattern for Christian Ministry. He came not to receive service, but to give it.
Matthew 20:28 (NIV)
"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as ransom for many."
It is important to take this as our duty in Ministry, for us as believers doing the Work of the Lord. There's no small or big or important, or less important job in the work of the Lord. Let's be reminded that the work we do in the church, is a work we do for the Most High God, the one who gave us life, the one who wiped our sin away, the one who died for us, the one whom in His great mercy, has chosen us to be His beloved children.
